All I want for Christmas...

This has been nice…
Millenium Bridge, London England.

But this is what I want right now…

  1. My goodness. What a crazy adventure. I'm sorry, dear. Home looks beautiful. So does London. I miss you so much!

  2. Home will be where the heart is...I'm sorry you're separated from your loved ones and Christmas traditions, etc.

  3. It's a bit of a bummer for sure. But I trust the Lord has a purpose. Enjoying time with distant family in Birmingham now. What does that phrase mean do you think, Peter? I've always wondered... does home become where one is, or is one's heart at home, away from the being...?

  4. I've wondered too. I think it means that wherever our heart (meaning deepest emotions, possibly even our souls?) is most "at home," that is where we belong. So, if we are most comfortable at our place of living, that is our true home. Eventually, we feel more at home with another person (spouse), but our hearts our never truly HOME until we die. Which is why I want to do that. Good song, by the way.

  5. I suppose that's a good way to put it. Don't wish for what's time has not yet come. You'll miss the reason you're here. Thanks. I like it.

  6. Jami,
I really like your point. I think that at times I have done exactly that. (missed the reason I'm here.)
